By geographical area, Myanmar is the largest country in mainland Southeast Asia or Indochina. Major exporting fresh water fishes are Hilsa, Pangush, Katla, Rohu, Mrigla and Tilapia. Marine fishes are Grouper, Tooth Snapper, Red Snapper, Ribbon Fish, White Croaker, Yellow Croaker, White Pomfret, Yellow Pike Conger, Talang Queenfish and Long Tongue Sole. Shell fishes and mollusks such as Tiger Shrimp, White Shrimp, Pink Shrimp and Squid are also exported.
