The hatchery also produces yellow perch  eggs and fry when demand warrents the activity.  Our yellow perch are among the fastest growing and easiest to feed train of all the yellow perch tested.

During spring the work forse expands to as many as six workers but the normal staff is two fulltime and a day worker as needed. The advanced fingerling and foodfish aspects of the operation are handled by a cooperating farm which supplies both iced and live fish.
