ABOUT OUR COMPANY Tassal is the leading Tasmanian salmon producer and a pioneer of Australian aquaculture. Their fresh Atlantic salmon is farmed in the pristine waters of the southern ocean, providing the perfect growing environment for delicious fine quality salmon. A rich source of Omega 3, salmon is versatile and easy to cook. Tassal was established in 1986 at Dover in the south of Tasmania and a hatchery was developed at Wayatinah in the central highlands.
