ABOUT OUR COMPANY Lyford & Burkhart Exports (NZ) Ltd trading as L&B Exports was established in 1988. A vertically integrated company, the group retains its involvement in the Rock Lobster industry as quota owners, fishermen, processors and exporters. In 1995 L&B Exports acquired Taspac International Seafoods to form L&B Taspac. Taspac added over 35 years of experience in the Seafood Industry and L&B Taspac quickly developed its current position as a leading player in the New Zealand Seafood Industry. Additional acquisitions have allowed L&B Taspac to further expand its species offerings. Additional to Lobster these now include our own Farmed Greenshell Mussels, Fresh Water Eels, Oysters, Sea Frozen products such as Squid, Ling, Barracouta, Southern Blue Whiting, Hoki, Warehou, Hake, Mackerel and a range of Deepwater and Inshore species in Whole, HGT, DRE and Filleted forms. PakSense Temperature Recorders are also offered to assist exporters in their quest for quality information and arrival condition. Constantly evolving, L&B Taspac sells high quality seafood to North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. As part of the Seawork Group, L&B Taspac spans to all corners of the globe from Germany, Spain, Namibia, and Australia back to New Zealand. In 2012 L&B Taspac extended its presence in China with the opening of an office in Qingdao. The China office is involved in fish processing, producing premium finished products as well as domestic sales across China.
