ABOUT OUR COMPANY
AQUI-S New Zealand Ltd enhances the quality and value of fish

Produced in New Zealand, AQUI-S® is an aquatic anaesthetic that has been
developed to give flexibility and control in animal husbandry,
transporting and harvesting operations. The ingredients are approved for
use in foods and AQUI-S® is safe for use in food and aquarium fish. Fish
that are harvested using AQUI-S have improved flesh quality, yield and
shelf life. The use of AQUI-S during the transportation of live fish and
during health management practices lowers stress and reduces
mortalities.
Product:
Aqui-s Anaesthetic Products - AQUI-S® is a water dispersible liquid
anaesthetic for fin fish, crustacea and shell fish. It is particularly
useful for the rested harvesting of fish, but can also be used for most
animal husbandry and transport applications.
AQUI-S Antifoam - AQUI-S® Antifoam is effective way to reduce foam
formation on the water surface. AQUI-S® Antifoam can be used at very
low concentrations (1 to 2 ppm) to achieve optimal results and is a food
grade, silicone emulsion.
Iki Jime - IKI JIME is a traditional Japanese technique used to kill
fish by brain ablation. Through the use of the Iki tool and brain
ablation there are signigicant improvements in flesh quality.
