ABOUT OUR COMPANY AQUADIVER is a local Underwater Inspection company established in the Republic of Panama. The company started operating with a select group of Divers engineers and technicians after observing that there was a need to provide just in time, reliable and first class IWS, UWILD, IN LIU DRY DOCKING, Photo Inspections, Underwater inspection, Underwater Hull Cleaning, Underwater Propeller Polish, Salvage, Recovery, ship repair and maintenance services to all kind of vessels transiting the Panama Canal. We are Underwater Inspection company registered by the National Government of Panama and Class Certified for to carry out all kind of In Water Surveys to all types of floating equipment at Panama Canal Area, Cristobal, Balboa, all anchorages and piers in the Republic of Panama. Our company is proud to say that it gives priority and efficiency with good technical coordination. We take into consideration the limited diving working time that we are subjected due to the vessel transit timetable schedules. Our team of divers and specialized personnel can carry out all diving works in record time, attending to ship personnel short notice requests upon arrival at anchorage, while berthed at the piers or during Canal transit. Our workshop is open 24/7. AQUADIVER Our Divers Team has diver’s certification cards class from the American Diving Contractors ADCI, AMP, ACP, ABS, BV, DNV- GL, NKK, RINA, LR, KR Class Societies and Panama Canal Authorities for safety standards and general UW Underwater Surveys and repairs. Fully diving equipped with hydraulic hand cleaning/polishing machines, compressors, pumps, underwater welding, and cutting. We can carry out underwater services at any port or anchorage in the Republic of Panama specially the Panama Canal Influence area SERVICES IN WATER SURVEYS, IN LIU OF DRY DOCKING, UWILD, EXTENDED DRY DOCK INTERVAL INSPECTION, CLASS APPROVAL UNDERWATER INSPECTIONS, ROV. Before or After Panama Canal Transit Awaiting AQUADIVER are approved/certified by ABS, BV, DNV- GL, NKK, RINA, LR, KR to conduct in-water surveys in the presence of that society. PROPELLER POLISHING at Panama Canal Area A properly polished propeller is a necessity to reduce slippage and increase efficient vessel operation. All propeller polishing tasks include a color video inspection of before and after polishing which becomes the property of costumer. UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING at PANAMA Canal Area The equipment and procedures used in Underwater hull cleaning have been selected to get the job done efficiently, on time and without damage to the vessels surface. During the reactivation process of the Anti-Fouling Coating special care is taken to remove only the outer layer that has lost its Anti-Fouling properties, and thus maintain the integrity of the lower layers of coatings. Other methods of removal Shells using: hydraulic brushes that create a Centrifugal force that adheres to the hull scraping hull surface to remove marine fouling These methods are intended to reduce the adverse effects of abrasion on antifouling coatings, both to prolong the life of the coating and to reduce friction to improve Displacement of the ship UNDERWATER CUTTING & WELDING Certified at Panama and Caribbean areas The method of wet underwater welding or underwater cutting which enables very fast and efficient remediation of fracture of structural elements on the spot, Application field: - Ships - rudder, hull, tanks, structural modifications, ship propellers - Corrosion protection - replacement of sacrificial anodes. SALVAGE DIVING Panama Region The removal of obstructions and hazards to navigation, is closely related to salvage diving, but has a different purpose, in that the objects to be removed are not intended to be recovered, just removed or reduced to a condition where they no longer constitute a hazard.
