ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Shetland Seafood Quality Control (SSQC) was set up to act as a
service to aquaculture and fishery based businesses in Shetland.
Employing 14 Fulltime members of staff SSQC was initially set up as a
fishery inspection role. The company has evolved since its inception in
1985 to include the following list of services
Marine Farm Services
* Marine Environmental Services including, marine surveys, taxonomy,
modelling and EIA
Inspectorate Services
* The Certification Scheme for Superior Quality Shetland Salmon
* White Fish Quality Improvement Scheme and Responsible fishing
scheme
Analytical Services
* UKAS approved Microbiological and chemical analyses |
