ABOUT OUR COMPANY Nutrition and health are Tharos’ primary business areas focused on animal, human and pharmaceutical products. Tharos works alternatively as project consultants, foreign company representative, quality program developers, brokers and/or distributors. Primarily associated with marine and seafood projects that require extensive operational and market analysis as well as superb sales practices – using the experience gained in successful and failed projects around the world including corporations in Japan, Korea, Poland, USA, Uruguay, Chile, Russia, Ukraine and Norway, among others. Value is created through Tharos' professional work performed as an outsourced independent contractor, whereas each individual project is completed until it is commercially executed. Project development, sales and marketing are accomplished through a fee-per-accomplishment agreement, on a fee-per-unit sold [brokerage] system or a combination of both. Affordable to each consultancy proyect costs are achieved through the use of flexible working teams assigned to each assignment. Each team is evaluated towards the main end-goal, being it the professional assignment market application. Projects are carried out using an “on-site” approach, where a large part of each project is developed directly where the contractor and the operation itself requires so, cooperatively and actively acting in association with the client. Development and product ideation, processing concepts, on-site quality control and on-time distribution for highest-quality and cost-affordable nutritional and pharmaceutical ingredients is Tharos’ core competence. Tharos represents world-class international companies focused on wellness products, such as, but not limited to krill and sucralose sweetener. Dimitri Sclabos since end 1980s and as Tharos since 1995 works on krill consulting and other fisheries projects. Tharos' technical and marketing reports are well known whereas their main areas of interest are the feed and food business segments. Some of these reports have been used as a benchmark tool for government policy application.
